George V. Troilo was born and raised in Philadelphia. In 1981, he moved to Delaware County and graduated from Upper Darby High School. He attended Villanova University and graduated summa cum laude with a dual degree in English and Criminal Justice. After graduation, he worked at Commerce Bank as a fraud investigator. Ultimately, he decided to attend law school and graduated from Widener University School of Law.

After graduating law school, George began a clerkship with the Honorable Nicholas M. D’Alessandro in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. He eventually started his own law firm, whereby he practiced in the following areas: Real Estate, Family Law and Civil Litigation. Additionally, George sat as a Master ruling on Emergency Protection from Abuse cases in the City of Philadelphia.

In 2009, George accepted a position as the Director of Procurement in Delaware County, Pennsylvania where he oversaw all procurement activities associated with the County’s five hundred million ($500,000,000) dollar budget. George is a member of the National Institute of Governmental Procurement “NIGP” and Southeastern Pennsylvania Purchasing Consortium. Also, he sits on the evaluation committee of the City of Philadelphia Civil Service Commission, where he is involved in the interview process for procurement positions in the city.

At the Pagano Law Firm, George has obtained multimillion-dollar medical malpractice awards and handles all personal injury matters as well as all estate and probate cases. Also, he is transactional council and utilizes his Pa Broker’s license in handling complex real estate matters.  

Mr. Troilo is an active member of both the Delaware County and Philadelphia Bar Associations and the state bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He sits on the Springfield Township Zoning Board, and is admitted to practice law before the Pennsylvania state and appellate courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

George lives in Springfield with his wife Sharon and their 4 children. He is active in his parish and community. Over the past ten years, George has coached high school basketball in the CYO and is a former member of the St. Anastasia CYO Board. George sits on the Board of Directors of Our House Ministries, Inc. and devotes his time to combat the opioid crisis that has ravaged the nation.
